Blanche Macdonald agent Dyan Woodhouse said Bennett’s success in New York became apparent after the parade of models event where the aspiring models walk in - front of scouts from agencies with an identifying number. After the parade of models, the 5°11" Bennett had 29 ‘‘calibacks”’ from interested agencies which eventually resulted in the two- month contract with Eva Models in Paris. Woodhouse estimated there were 600 models at the con- vention. “It was great. It was really good experience,’” said Bennett of her trip to New York. According to Woodhouse, sev- eral of the agencies who ap- proached Bennett in New York, such as Wilhefmina’s in) New York, Why Not? in Milan and Folio in Tokyo, have made offers of modelling contracts to Bennett for this fall and into next summer. During her first week in Paris, Bennett is booked in at Elle Mag- azine and also has bookings with Chanel and Voguc for print work. Woodhouse describes Bennett's look as exotic.
