The 19-year-old = North Vancouver woman was stabbed at least 11 times in the throat with a pair of scissors. She was left to die on the car- peted floor of the Money Mart cheque cashing store shortly ater the 9 p.m. closing time. The store was located at 199 Hastings. Kaler worked as a teller at the store near Victory Square. “Kelly Kaler must have buzzed Price into the back (of the store) prior to her death, in other words, actually invited him into the back,” said Keefer. Keefer said that the evi- dence will show that Price stole st equivalent of $60,000 in cash as Kaler was dying.
