Once this kind of speed becomes possible, your telephone, television and computer
will become one. They will be able to network and communicate with each other so
effortlessly you will hardly notice the difference. You may never have to rent another
movie again - simply download it and watch it. The sare can be said for computer
programs and video games. Virtual reality is not as far away as you think.

Personal computer technology has afforded us many opportunities. People are now
communicating on a global scale and coming together like never before.

Experts agree that our world is changing faster than ever, but the power over change
still lies with us — the people who make and use this technology.

Many people feel it is easy to get carried away. Others find it all very problematic and
would prefer to do without. Still, technology has worked its way into all of our lives.
Most of it developed with the goal of making our lives easier, not more complicated.

if this brave new world all seems a littie overwhelming, just remember how past
generations must have felt when the transistor radio or television was invented. They
found a way to live with the change - and so will we.
