amendments to the “Zoning By-law, 1967", and the

BYLAW NO. 6131

To amend the text of the Zoning Bylaw insofar as it
relates to regulations with respect to Lower Lonsdale

Zones 1-5.

The proposed bylaw will also make minor amend-
ments to the Zoning Bylaw of a housekeeping nature,
which will not affect the intent of the zoning bylaw.

NOTICE is hereby given by the City of North Vancou-

BYLAW NO. 6153

To amend the text of the Zoning Sylaw as it pertains
to “General Reguiations’ by adding a “Garbage and
Recycling Facilities” clause.

The amending bylaw requires that except as other-
wise provided for, buildings in ail but one and two
family residential zones shall provide a facility for gar-
bage and recycling in accordance with the specifica-
tions and with access to a driveway or lane.

The proposed bylaw also provides that except for one
and two family buildings, and buildings or structures
which commence construction after December 1,
1990, when one parking space required by the Zon-
ing Bylaw has been used for the enclosure or storage
of recycling containers as part of a City program,
then that space shall be counted towards meeting

the parking requirement.
