That seems to be the cosmic arrangement. It might even be said that a// of us have that opportunity. Some people appear to be short-changed, but there is no way of our being sure about that. of us enter life: ‘their high-quality lives, when it appeared they had relatively little to work with. I am convinced that most of us have what we need for the life-long experience of giving ourselves permission to be whole. Drop a plumb bob and chalk line from the ceiling to the floor, and snap a vertical line. Hang your first sheet of paper so its edge is on this line to assure that your paper is straight up and down. This is better than using a door, window or corner, since very few rooms are actually square. Hint Number Two: Pasted, damp wallpaper tears easily, can be difficult to cut unless blade is ex- tremely sharp. Use a new blade. It will take a paper cutter, with razor-sharp blade and a wallpaper brush. It will take about two hours. 1. Hang your first strip next to a window or door, after first dropping plum- bline to establish a vertical guide. 2. If using prepasted paper, soak according to directions, then carry first sheet to plumbline. Place against wall, overlapping ceiling joint by two inches. Align edge with plumb Hine. Use wallpaper brush to brush paper to the wall. 3. For paper you pasted yourself, lift paper at midpoint, where top and bottom of sheet meet. Carry to plumbhine. 4. Unfold top section by grasping upper corners. Place the strip high on the wall, overlapping ceiling joint by two inches. 5. Brush upper section with a couple of strokes to hold it on wall. 6. Open the lower section and align sheet to plumbline, sliding carefully. Now brush entire strip, brushing from the center out to remove air bubbles. 7.
