STEWART: I don’t feel comfortable to say to myself, Vhen wrong is right (or to God, or to my kids) that I am all for-honesty and will be honest under most circumstances, but that when I am put in a very dif- ficult situation, I plan to set aside my conviction about honesty and replace it, out of compassion or concern, with some thing more suitable circumstances. I am always. eager to receive letters, of course, and it is discon- serting when they are too lengthy or too involved to print. Please think of the one thing (or perhaps two) that you want to write about and get the letter in the mail. Many of the letters that include a request for an indi- vidual, written response, are ones that indicate a need for counselling of one sort or another. My work is coun selling and I am always receptive to telephone calls requesting appointments. I have an office on the North Shore on Tuesdays and appointments may be made easily, simply by ‘phoning me. If Tuesdays are awk- ward, other days I am in my Vancouver o office. Lest this sounds tike™ a plug, let me assure prospective callers, that.I will be happy to refer ‘them to other counsellors on the North Shore, or in Vancouver. So — keep those letters coming in!. Keep them pointed and not too ram- bling. If you want personal responses, please consider counselling as an alternative for it is impossible for me to keep up a heavy programme of correspondence.— Thank you. ‘. — a See, wok LONG.RANGEPLAN __ WEST VANCOUVER SCHOOL BOARD.
