Handsworth dominates track results

AS BEFITS their cham-
pionship status, Handsworth
athletes dominate the North
Shore finishers in the top
eight of the provincial track
meet results.

Handsworth came first in
the two day meet, held June
4 and 5S, relying not only
upon star athletes like Dave
Wilkinson but also on the
many school athletes who
swamped the events by their
numbers and prowess.

At least 50 North Shore
athletes made it to the

provincials, but a final count
is not in yet. Results are now
in, but only the top eight are
listed even though up to 24
competitors participated in
each event.

Place: North Vancouver Rec. Centre

Date: June 21 for players 12 and under.
June 22 for those 13 to 18.

Time: 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Photocopy of birth certificate re-
quired when registering.

Skate School: (for non- or weak skaters)
Sept. 7-11, $25 per session.

Hockey School: Sept. 13-18 & Sept. 20-25
$50 per session.

Equipment sale: Aug. 28th in the Seymour Room at the
N.V_R.C. between 9 a.m. - 12 noon.
