you are a pet owner and pet
lover, chances are you've
already made sure that your

dog or cat is also enjoying

this fine season.

But, just: so you don’t
forget here’s a checklist of
things you should know to
make sure your pet has a
happy. and carefree summer
vacation:

_ Cait down on ‘volume of
food if your animal is less
active.

—— Feed -your animal its

main meal in the’ morning

when it’s cooler.

— Make sure there is
always a ready supply of
cool, fresh water available.

— If you keep your dog
tied up outside make sure
there is shade nearby for
those hot afternoon siestas.

— Avoid the problem of
heat prostration — leave
your dog at home when you
go for a jog. And, never,
never leave your pet in the
car, even if the windows.are
rolied down.

— Should your pet have
the misfortune to meet up
with a skunk, you can relieve
the scent problem by bathing
