We are ccrrently conducting three (3) studies i the respira
tory Chine at Vancouver Hospital far people with Chron
Bronchitis or Emphysema. One study is evatuanng a new
type of puffer for giving inhaled breathing medications The
other two (2) studies are evaluating new medications All
studies are between 6 - 7 months duration, and require
between 8 - 11 visits to the clinte

To qualify, you must:

~ be at least 40 years of age
~ have chronic bronchitis or emphyscna
~ have NO ASTHMA or HISTORY of ASTHMA

If eligible, you will receive your study medications, a diary
and peak flow meter to measure your breathing, and an
honorarium to cover your expenses for participating.
