Lions fundraising rolling THE Lynn Valley Lions Club has been awfully busy so far this year. Phe focal service club pur the word out in December that it had an electric wheelchair avail able for someone on the North Shore who need ed iz. The response was tremendous. “It was incredible how many people were crate for a chair,” said Peter Birrell of the chairs provide mobility for people with a disability or disease and helps them gain access to a fulfilling litestyle. The club decided it couldn't & stop at helping one person wher it had such a list of needy people. Through Christmas tree sales and a casino, it managed to rai h money for a second wheelchair and for a scoote! The results are satisfying. In fact, v News attempted to gather the recipients of the chairs for the above photo, it tcok weeks, because they were always busy.
