Antique trucks get a home

NORTH Vancouver’s historical
fire trucks have found a perma-
nent home.

On Monday Nerth Vancouver City
Council approved a grani of $45,500 ro the
North Vancouver Museum and Archives
Commission to cover the cost of building
and servicing two bays to provide a home
for the city’s two antique fire truck:

for space in the Greater Vancouver Regional

B.C. is looking for young people on
the North Shore interested in find-
ing ways to reduce violence.

CAVEAT B in partnership with the
North Shore ighbourhood House, the
RCMP and Attorney General Ministry youth
programs is looking for volunteers to join the
CAVEAT vouth council.

Anyone between the ages of 12 and 18
who is interested in joining the CAVEAT
youth council is welcome to attend a mecting
on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the
