arms deal, according to a report in the
September issue of Varicouver magazine.

at the construction site of a Jewish com-
munity centre and synagogue in. West
Vancouver on Taylor Way near the Upper
Levels Highway Friday. ;

Earlier in the week. the Jewish commu- .
nity received a hate note. - ‘

The note was attached to an Aug: 17

“newspaper article stating that Israeli sol-

diérs killed hundreds of Egyptian POWs in
the 1967 Middle East war.

The note read: “By the way, are you
sull paying a S$ a year for those nice
preinises you so secretly acquired. W're
watching you! : .

“Now the truth comes out (tip of an ice-
burg no doubt) You are just like the rest of
us! Killing innocent POWs, torturing
prisoners, all the while so arrogant!”
