Proposals to extend and
modify consumer protection
in a wide range of
marketplace transactions
were introduced in the
Legislature recently by
Consumer and Corporate
Affairs Minister Jim Nielsen.

The proposals amend

sections of the Consumer .

Protection Act which have
not been proclaimed
because they were “un-
workable” under current
market conditions.

Nielsen said the amend-
ments will:
