In Burnaby against the Bluchawks, the Flames opened the scoring just 40 seconds into the game with a shot by Ken Savage from Justine George and Kelly Lawrence. The Bluchawks responded just under six minutes later to even the score, then pulied ahead on a Fencing taught in NY THE SPORT of fencing will be taught this winter at Seylynn Rec- reation Centre. The course will cover all fencing skills, including simple and com- pound attacks, counterattacks, parties, and disengages and deflec- tions of the blade, and participants will have plenty of practice time for sparring bouts. All foils, masks, and jackets will be supplied; participants need only bring their tennis shoes, and both experienced and beginning fencers are welcome. The course will run Monday evenings from Jan. 18 fo March 21 and will be taught by Zbigniew Petrusinsky, a gold medal winner at the B.C.
