back on the winning track in
week three of Coaches Soccer
League play after splitting
their first two matches this
season, edging International
Paints 43.

notched an early goal to give
his team a !-0 lead which they
held through the first half

with a strong performance to
defeat Firefighters 3-0 at
Cleveland Park on Sunday in
a division 1B Van Meet soc-
cer game.

The second win of the
season for the Saints, came
with five efforts from Ed

Thomas (two goals) and
Terry Gaines (one goal).

A strong defensive team ef-
fort kept the experienced
Firefighter team off the
scoreboard. Gary Ofner and
Craig Henderson centered
the defence and helped Rob
Rutley to his first shut out of
the season.
