Traffic Section Whether you be a pedestrian, cyclist, or a motorist you are subject to the provincial laws which govern pedestrian and motor vehicle movement. When an infraction of these laws occurs you may be subject to a fine, point, or a warning ticket, (traffic notice). If you are issued a warning ticket it is exactly that — a warning. If a point ticket is issued and you do not agree with the officer, you have SEVEN days and only seven days to dispute the ticket, (weekends and holidays are included). You must take your copy of the ticket to the local provincial court. The officer will request that you sign the ucket. By signing the ticket you are only acknowledging a receipt of the copy to the ticket, you are NOT admitting to the offence.
