Last time I was in Am-
Sterdam, I nearly had a fit
about the taxis. They buzzed
through the traffic like it was

country but I've never had

more sedate and pleasant -

Later, we drove from
Amsterdam to the Belgian

border in the “deep south”

always been afraid of
European drivers but I

car in Holland and take to

one-week drive around the
