RAILINGS ON BALCONIES:

The railings must be thoroughly cleaned with
my special cleaning formula (enclosed), rinsed with
clean water and allowed to dry.

Apply a coat of THOMPSON’S WATER SEAL
which should be allowed to remain in place on the

railings for 3 to 4 months. Following this “set up

”

period, apply a coat of good quality ACRYLIC LATEX
PRIMER and then the ACRYLIC LATEX TOP COAT.

You may prefer an excellent ACRYLIC product
such as DECKOTE, which can be purchased at the
Windsor Plywood Stores. If applied properly, deckote
will provide a much longer wearing life to railings than

just the

siandard paint. Once you have thoroughly

cleaned the railings with our special cleaning formula,
apply the DECKOTE PRIMER, followed by the
DECKOTE TOP COAT oily.
Cleaning Formula: 3 quarts warm water
1 quart liquid bleach

2/3 cup Trisodium Phosphate 9T.S.P.)
1/3 cup household liquid detergent
