Charges of theft and pos-
session of stolen property
from various stores in Park
Royal and Vancouver
against two West Vancouver
boys are being considered as
a result of police searches of
their homes.

West Vancouver -.-Police
allege that when they
searched the boys’ homes
after picking up the 15 and
16-year-olds for shoplifting
they found stolen property
totalling more than $1,700.

The two are reported to
have been apprehended by
Woodwards security staff in

the area of Taylor Way and |

Marine Drive July 11 and
found to be in possession of a
cassette recorder-radio unit
worth $275 and.a poster.

Subsequent ‘ investigation
is said to have shown the
same boys had been involved
in other incidents of shop-
lifting and police later went
to their homes and con-
ducted searches.

uncovered property stolen
