at the age of 49 years after a
courageous struggle with Muiti-
je Scierosix, Marcia is survived
y her husband of 25 years, Em-
est, daughter Jennifer, son Paul,
mother Stella McLeod and sister
Norma Siicox, as well as many
relatives and friends. Marcia was
a devoled wife, an exceptional
mother and true friend to many.
Marcia was born in Casiyie, Sas-
katchewan to Alvin and Stella
McLecd. She received her pri-
may and secondary education
in Carlyle and a Bachelor of Arts
degres from the University of
Saskatchewan in Saskatoon,
She was an accomplished pia-
nist, who loved her piano, and of-
ten filled her home with music.
Marcia and Emest were married
- on July 20, 1974 and first lived in
Saskatoon and then moved (to
~ West Vancouver in 1987. Marcia
took great pride in raising two
wondertu! chidren and being an
invaluable voluniser in the com-
munity. There will be a celebra-
tion of AMarcia’s life at the
Capilano Golf and Country Club,
420 Southborough Orive, West
Vancouver at 2:00 p.m. on Sun-
day, February 27, 2000, In lieu

Porcupine, Ontario, George will
be sadly missed by loving
wife and best friend, Judi; his
children Murray, Mary Beth
(John), Graham (Lola), George
Jr. (Altison} and Avam, Wade
(Paula), Robbi-Layne (Neil); and
his most precious grandchildren
Mathew, Cody, Dane, Austen,
Hunter and Samantha. He is al-
so survived by his in-laws Jack
and Lil Metaflerty.his sister, Bev-
erly Bernardo (Elio) and her chil-
dren and Buddy Whyte, the moth-
er of his children. Widely known
in the real estate profession,
George had been a salesperson
and agent for the past 36 years.
He was a former co-owner of Mit-
ten Realty on the North Shore
and most recently worked with
Judi at Prudential Sussex Realty
in West Vancouver. He was a
meinber and past Director of the
Real Estate Board of Greater
Vancouver and a Past President
of the North Vancouver Division
of that Board. He sesved on the
Real Estate Coucil from 1986 un-
til 1992 and again fror- 1996 to
the time of his death. He was
elected Vice-Chair of the Council
in 1998 and as Chair in July,
1999. He was active in a number
of community organizations in-
cluding President of the North
Shore Gommunity Concerts, He
loved his wife, family, friends,
the real estate business, a goif
game and the Lord. Prayers will
be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednes-
day, February 23, 2000 at St.
Anthony's Parish, 2337_ingle-
wood, West Vancouver. The fu-
neral service will be held at St.
Anthony's Parish at 11:00 a.m.,
