new medication for the treatment of depression.

The purpose of the ‘study is to further the knowledge arid to make improve-
ments in the treatment of depression. ff you think that you may be suffering
from depression, you have an opportunity to participate in the study. =

Study treatment visits will be on individual basis with a psychiatrist. study can
didates would need to meet the following criteria: :

+ Presently suffering from depressed mood; the diagnosis of depression will
be made when you are assessed by 2 psychiatrist. .

© Be able to attend weekly visits to the Reproductive Menta Health»
Program at BC Women's Hospital
* Not on antidepressant medications in the last two months
