Peter Black celebrates 50 years in business. Peter Black & Sons Master Butchers first opened its doors in Vancouver in 1948 shortly after Peter Black Senior moved his wife from Scotland. Peter Black Junioz, the present owner and operator of the shop in Park Royal—and a character in his own right-—was just a lad of four years at that time. In 1965 Peter fol- lowed in his father’s footsteps and opened a butcher shop in Ambleside. In 1985 Peter moved his business to The Market in Park Royal and has never looked back. Peter’s sons have also been bitten with the retail bug, and blessed with their father’s retail savvy. Jason is the owner/operator of Global News and Adam is the manager of the butcher shop. Congratulations Peter and keep up the great work! The Kennedy's guest room- winner of the Park Royal Home Fashion Makeover ¢ il contest valued at 23 aver 52,500.
