attire but the legendary

That’s good news for
Goldman, even if he won't be
profiting on the fashion front.
As spokesman for Big
Brothers, with which he’s
been involved for 40. years,
he’s busy promoting that
organization's largest annual
fundsaiser, Bowl for Big
Brothers Classic.

Last year, snore than 4,006
bowlers from 186 companies
participated and collected
$337,000 in pledges for Big
Brothers. There were 23 cor-
porate teams from the North
Shore.

Goldman, who celebrated
the 50th anniversary of his
store’s opening and his 75th
birthday fast year, turned out
to bow! a few games.

“I bowled 300,” he
declares, then qualifies his
boast with “over five games.”

What distinguished him
from the crowd, he is proud to
say, is that he was the only one
to bow! in fuli business aztire.
