rRiBAY September 20, 1996 Tourist discovers dead man By Michael Becker News Editor A tourist trying to get a good scenic shot of Horseshoe Bay at a pullout along Highway 99 on Wednesday stum- bled upon a less pretty picture: the body of a -dead man. West Vancouver Police were called to the scene, two kilometres (1.2 miles) north of Horseshoe Bay, just after 10:30 am. The body was found six to cight metres (19 to 26 feet) from the highway pullout. Sgt. Barry Nickerson said police are treating the death as suspicious. An autopsy was scheduled for yesterday. To press time the identity of the man was unknown. There were no obvious signs of injury, according to Nickerson. A vehicle found parked at the _ pullout was seized and towed away.
