The images were chosen based on their quality and / because of the interest they hold for people fascinated by the romance and science of the world of ships. Now closed, the shipyards ° were once integral to the eco- nomic health of North Vancouver. The shipyards once employed more than 10,000 workers at their peak during the Second World War. !
