Fashions on parace

FASHIONARTS, AN _ exhibition
of fashion design and wearable art
that represents a_ prestigious
gathering of West Coast fashion
designers, continues at the Com-
munity Arts Council of Vancouver
gallery at 837 Davie St. until Oct.
29. Among the designers in Fash-
ionArts are Julie Shilander, Diane
Thorpe and Eileen Wheeler. From
the North Shore, West Vancouver
designer Isabel Anderson has a
number of outfits in the show. For

Fashion is an Attitude in an all-day
showing of apparel from the
Marina Rinaldi Collection of
favored silhouettes for the fash-
ion-conscious full-figured woman.
The Oct. 28 presentation runs
three times during the day. Light
