The third annual North Shore News Sailing Race is on for Sunday dune ... |
1, 1980. This, year the course will be from Dundarave Pier, around the.
Point Grey: Bell Buoy to port, to the centre channel marker south of

Dundarave, across the inlet to the finish line about one-half mile. off: |
Kitsilano Beach.

The race starts at 10:00 AM and all entrants should report to the
Committee Boat at Dundarave Pier by 9:30 AM.

Following the race, all boats are to anchor at the Granville Islar
Moorage for the post-race awards ceremonies and celebration, to be held -

at the North Shore Sailing School in Boaters’ Village. There will be prizes -
. for everyone in addition to the special awards. _

outline the alternate course for lack of wind. There will be films and slides
afterwards and, of course, the bar will be open. :
