Earle and Betty Moreton (née Sharp) were married
on June 15, 1946, in Vancouver's Christ Church
Cathedral. They have lived in the Lynn Valley area for
40 years, raised three daughters and helped raise four
grandchildren. They celebrated their 50th anniversary
with. family and friends on June 15 at Seasons restau-
rant in Queen Elizabeth Park.

The Rev. D. Randall and M. Elizabeth Faro of North
Vancouver, Robert and Sheri Affeldt of Cohassett,
Minnesota, and Ms. Edee Affeldt of Alexandria,
Minnesota, announce the engagement of their children,
Jeniffer Elizabeth Faro and Dr. Christian Andrew
Affeldt, both of Centralia, Washington. The wedding will
take place June 22 at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church. Ms.
Faro attended university and graduate school in the U.S.
midwest and is currently a mental health professional in
Chehalis, Washington. Dr. Affeldt earned his undergradu-
ate and DVM degrees in Minnesota and is an associate
veterinarian at Macomber and Wessilius veterinary clinic
in Centralia. Congratulaiions!
