NEWS photo Mike Waketleid PRESENTATION HOUSE Theatre has remounted Peter Eliot Weiss’ successful drama-comedy, Haunted House Hamlet. Co-directed by Kate and Peter Eliot Weiss, the play opened Tuesday and runs until Aug. 1. WEST VANCOUVER’S Dramaworks turns two this sum- mer and director Jennifer. Riach is celebrating the success of her in- novative theatre classes for kids _and teens. “it’s going. very well,” said Riach, a professional actor and drama coach. ‘Registration has doubled from the fall-winter ses- sion.” For the second time, Dramaworks is holding a summer camp this year for youth aged seven-15. The two-week, day-long sessions will be held at Klee Wyck. In Creative Drama Camp (for ages seven-12) students explore the art of prop-making and mask-making and learn how to use their creations in a variety of dramatic presentations, culminating in an -informal pres- entation for parents and friends on the second Saturday of each: ses: sion. “The 13 and over class will: “do a couple of scenes from The Tempest, which they'll see per- formed at Vanier Park. We've in- vited Christopher Gaze from Bard | ‘on the Beach to come and talk to the class,” says Riach.
