Woman sentenced to nine months A 38-YEAR-OLD Burnaby woman was recently jailed for nine months in connection with a charge of defrauding Elmec Engineering Ltd. in North Van- couver, Jeanne Christina McDonald pleaded . guilty to the charge, which stemmed from _ incidents that occurred between Sept. 12, 1989, and Nov. 21, 1989, in North Vancouver District. McDonald was required to pay $6,213 compensation or ‘‘a lesser amount that equals the deduction on the insurance paid by the complainant.’’ Judge’ Jezume Paradis recom- mended McDonald serve her jail sentence with an electronic monitoring system.
