THE North Vancouver
RCMP are asking for
help in finding a man
who groped a teenage
girl at Lonsdale Quay
on May 29.

The man is described as
being of Asian descent, age
28, 1.8 m (6 2°) with a sliin
build.

Police say the man {ol-
lowed the 14- vear-old girl to
different areas of Lonsdale
Quay. The man then followed
her to her home at acarby
Chadwick
Court. At
the foot of
the escalator
in the bus
loop area,
the man
started talk-
ing to the
girl, telling
her that she was beautiful and
that he was 28. The man then
grabbed the girl’s hands.
Police said she pulled away.

mother immediately headed
down to her daughter. The
man grabbed the girl again
and “stroked” her face, neck
and chest area, said police.
The girl broke away and ran
to her mother. Police say the
mother later confronted the
man in the Quay. He denied
