emergency incidents:

NORTH VANCOUVER
RCMP

January 21

1. Westview shopping centre

RCMP called to a robbery
at the Toronto Dominion
Bank. Two suspects made off
with about $500 in cash after
brandishing a hand gun and
demanding moncy, One man

had pulled a toque over his
face as he came into the bank.
Good physical evidence at the
scene has led police to sus-
pects in Vancouver.

January 25
2. 3200-blk. Mountain
Hwy.

An RCMP officer on
patrol in the area located a
vehicle parked on the road
with a very damaged ignition,

which indicated the car had
recently been stolen. The
owner had left the 1995 Eagle
Talon parked behind the
Avalon Hotel at 7 p.m.

3. 200-blk. West 2nd
RCMP called to a home
where 3a male adult suspect
was trying to get into his ey-
girlfriend’s home. There was a
court order prohibiting him
from being there. He has a
very violent temper and has

done jail time for assaulting
this woman. The investigation
continues,

4. 3200-bik. Mountain
Hwy.

RCMP were called to a
daycare at 1 a.m. A pass-
erby saw th teen males
going over the fenee onto the
daycare’s property. Police and
police dogs walked the area
but the suspects had fled.
There was no damage.

North Van RCMP seize cocaine

FOUR people in a car with Washington
State plates were arrested on Tuesday
after making an erratic exit off the
Second Narrows Bridge into North
Vancouver.

The car took the abrupt exit after being
spotted by North Vancouver RCMP

The car’s occupants — three men ages
24, 21 and 19 and an 18-year-old woman

— were “getting their stories mixed up

turned up 119 grams of cocaine. Police
estimate the value of the cocaine at
approximately $13,000.
