CLOSE TO 100 Balmoral Junior Secondary students held a 24-hour fast last
weekend to raise money for OxFam Canada. To while away the tima, the students
watched videos, played games and even slept. At the end of the day-long fast —
during which over $6,000 was raised — they celebrated with a pizza feast.
