Collyer has done her time.
Twice she has been approached by
investors to open a store, but
while she acknowledges the ex-
posure would be greater, “the
heddaches for me would far
outweigh the advantages.’” .

Collyer’s goal is “‘to continue to
do designs that you can’t find
anywhere else, [f everyone is into
a specific style or design, I will
steer clear and do something dif-
ferent. 1 have no desire to join the
throngs.””

One totally unique feature that
all her designs share is a sense of
Collyer’s own joy.
