seasonings. Combine egg, milk and
melted butter and add to bread
mixture, stirring well. Let stand a
few minutes before forming into
balls the size of walnuts.

Lower the dumplings on top of
the hot soup, cover and simmer
gently for about 8 minutes. Un-
cover, turn burner to warm and fet
stand 15 minutes.

Chicken Cacciztore
13-Ib. bag chicken legs, thawed
1 large preen pepper, diced
1 large cooking onion, chopped
2 28-02. tins ground tomatoes

I use the Capri brand
1 tablespoon mixed, dried Italian
herbs
2 teaspoons garlic powder
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
% tb. mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon butter

Disjoint the chicken fegs and
brown in a deep Dutch Oven.

Remove and set aside. In the same
oven, cook onion and green pepper
