Police in West Van ob- tained significant quantities of heroin, cocaine and marijuana - and it would have been hard for them to have put less fuss or effort into the seizures. The seizures were totally unplanned. Two of the busts occurred as a_ result of routine vehicle checks - one right outside police headquarters. Most significant of the drug hauls was handed over to them - voluntarily. The first seizure occurred February 18, as a result of a routine check of a vehicle on the Trans Canada Highway at Westmount.
