The North Shore Family
Y.M.C.A. is offering an
alpine ski program for the
youth on the North Shore.
This program, the
“Y .M.C.A. Junior Ski Club,”
will operate from January 16
until March 6, 1982 on
Saturdays for children in
grades four to seven. The
children must have their own
equipment.

The program includes
eight, 2 hour lessons by a
qualified ski instructor,
followed by a half-day free

A message
for people

skiing with a YMCA trained
volunteer. The children will
not only be supervised, but
taught various ski techniques
throughout the free skiing
period.

Transportation to and
from the Y.M.C.A. in West
Vancouver to the mountain
is provided. There will be a
pre-season equipment check
on Jan. 12, and an evening of
ski films on Jan. 14. At the
end of the season, we will
have fun-races and a party.

Registration is open until
Dec. 18, 1981. The fee for
