created the company’s muar-
keting department, expanded
its overseas agency network,
publicized the company’s
liabilities and achievements,
visited potential shipowning
clients worldwide, and
helped develop an organiza-
tion capable of a high
response rate to clients’ re-
quirements.

In the three years prior to
joining Burrard Yarrows, he
managed a company engag-
ed in marketing and supply-
ing offshore, loading termi-
nals to the U.K. offshore oil
industry.

Watt has also held a
number of positions in ship-
building and ship repair with
Hong Kong United Drydocks
and was a seagoing engineer
with Blue Funnel Line of
Liverpool.

LaRoue had been director,

personnel and industrial
relations since joining Bur-
rard Yarrows in 1981.

A former professional
football player with Toronto
Argonauts of the Canadian
Football League, he is
responsible for development
and administratien of in-
dustrial relations and_per-
sonnel policies, negotiations,
personnel administration,
safety, training, security and
group benefit programs.

Previously, he held similar

years while serving as
employee relations manager
for a major brewery in Van-
couver.
