Break and enter. Unknown
suspect entered vacant house
and smashed windows and
walls, and removed electric
outlets, switches and fixtures.
Damage to residence about
$15,009. Stoten: nil.
2. Park Royal South

Theft. Suspect exited store
into mall and set off alarm.
Suspect fled on foot and was
chased by staff. Suspect
sprayed staff member twice
with pepper spray to evade
capture. Suspect description:
white male, 20s, 178 cm
(5°8"), black hair, clean
shaven, black cap, Jeacher
coat, beige pans os

jailed five days and reccived
12 months’ probation after
he pleaded guilty to using a
counterfeit $100 bill on Oct.
9, 1999 in North Vancouver.

Staines was ordered to
pay $45 restitution to a cab
driver.
