Twenty-eight-year-old
Surrey man named as
driver of runaway truck

THE News has learned that

Rajeep Khosa was the driver of a
dump truck that careercd down
22nd Street in West Vancouver
and was involved in a fatal crash
on Sept. 27.

The West Vancouver Police fave aot released
Khosa’s name.

Khosa has not been charged with a crime.

Freedoms

Khosa, 28, of Surrey, is being investigated by the
West Vancouver Police in connection with a poten
tial charge of committing criminal negligence caus-
ing the death of North Vancouver's Bjorn Bjornsen.

Bjornson, 58, was a pedest ran on Marine Drive
near the bottom of 22nd Street when he was struck
by the overloaded dump truck with mualfuncnioning
brakes.

The retired paramedic was pronounced dead at
Lions Gate Hospital.

in the crash. The driver of the ‘Toyota truck,

Ma Yee Kwong, 40, of Richmond, sustained a bro
