AN EVENING with investigative
journalist Stevie Cameron, whose
Globe and Mail column broke
numerous news stories during the
Mulroney years, will take place at
the West Vancouver Secondary
School Theatre on Tuesday,

“Cameran,. who authored the
best-sellers On the Take and Ouawa
Inside Out, will talk about greed,
corruption and power in Ottawa's
political circles. Her latest book,
On the Take documents spending
scandals, contract awards and polit-
ical patronages by Mulroney and
the Conservatives of the 1980s.

The former host of CBC's Fifth
Estate is currently a contributing
editor for Maclean's magazine.

Cameron's talk will be followed
by a reception which will include a
book signing. Her books will be
offered for sale or audience, mem-
bers may bring their own.

Columnist and ‘food authority
Jurgen Gothe will host the evening
which starts at 8 p.m., Tuesday,
May 30.
