Trial set in accident death A 44-YEAR-OLD North Vancouver man will stand trial in Van- couver county court on a criminal charge laid against him in con- nection with an incident in which a North Vancouver cyclist was struck by a car and later died from injuries suffered in the accident, Herbert Earl Tedder appeared in North Vancouver provincial court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing into 9 charge of failing to remain at the scene of an accident in which another person was injured. The charge was laid against Tedder in connection with an Oct. 5 incident in which cyclist Neat Walker was struck by a car as he was riding easthound down Keith Road bill. He was rushed to Lions Gate Hospital and transferred to Van- couver Genera! Hospital's intensive care unit Oct. 7, where he was pronounced dead. « Appearing before Judge J.B.
