THE FOLLOWING people ap-
peared in North Vancouver and
West Vancouver provincial courts
recently to face various charges.
Before Judge J.L. McCarthy in
North Yancouver provincial court
on Aug. 1:

Thomas Jacob Bonny was fined
$100 and put on probation for six
months after the 25-year-old
North Vancouver man _ pleaded
guilty to fraudulently obtaining
transportation from a North
Shore Cab car on Jan. 13.

Roger Bloiso Harrison received
a one-year conditional discharge
after the 20-year-old North Van-
couver man pleaded guilty to
stealing a bicycle on April 20,
1988.

Harrison was aiso put on pro-
bation for one year and ordered
to complete 100 hours of com-
munity work service.

Peter Reed served one day in
the North Vancouver sheriff cells
after the 42-year-old North Van-
couver man pleaded guilty to
stealing merchandise from the

Lynn Valley Shoppers Drug Mart _

on June 13.

Reed was also put on probation
for nine months and ordered to
complete 100 hours of community
work service.

Before Judge J.L. McCarthy in
North Vancouver provincial court
on July 31:

Ronald Jansen was fined $100
and put on probation for one year
after the 29-year-old North Van-
couver man pleaded guilty to
mischief under $1,000 in connec-
tion with a Dec. 30, 1989 incident
where Jansen smashed the window
of a car owned by the Canadian
government.

Jansen was also ordered to pay
$115.33 in restitution to the fed-
eral government.

Before Judge R.D. Grandison in
North Vancouver provincial court
on July 23:

Brian John Windatt received a
conditonal discharge and was put
on provation for six months after
the 33-year-old North Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to assaulting a
man o7: Jan. 30.

Vancouver provincial court on Ju-
ly 24:

Samuel Walker received a
suspended sentence and was put
on probation for 18 months after
the 19-year-old) Vancouver man

Stephen Kerr was fined $200
and had his driver's license
suspended for one year after the
38-year-old North vancouver man
pleaded guilty to driving without a
license and failing to obey a traf-
fic sign June 12 at Taylor Way.

pleaded guilty to possession of
stolen property including cassette
tapes and tire chains in connection
with a Feb. 23 incident.

Walker was also found euiltv of
stealing a car on the same day.
