your letters in recent issues of the
North Shore News.

Your factual refutations of
Doug Collins’ dangerous and inac-
curate journalism are deeply ap-
preciated.

In 1944, I was arrested in
Holland and am one of few sur-
vivors of a Nazi extermination
camp.

I personally lost 700 friends and
countrymen in Ravensbruck con-
centration camp.

The revived pain of this loss and
the memories of the horrors shared
make it imperative that we sur-
vivors speak out against continued
distortions of this sort.
