Day camp
programs
offered

CHILDREN, AGED six to 12
years, have a choice of two sum-
mer day camp programs offered
through the North Vancouver Rec-
reation Commission.

Exclusively for Kids is based at
Karen Magnussen Arena. ‘Each
session runs Monday to Friday, 9
am. to 4 p.m., for two weeks
beginning July 6. Registration fee
is $120 per child.

Challenge ‘87 is based at
Westover Elementary School. Each
session runs Monday to Friday,
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for one
week beginning July 13. Registra-
tion fee is $50 per child.

These programs offer partici-
pants an assortment of activities,
including model rocket building,
soapbox construction and arts and
crafts, and dayitrips to such sites as
the Vancouver Public Aquarium,
the Stanley Park zoo, the H.R.
MacMillan Planetarium and some
of Vancouver’s regional parks.

In addition, children in the Ex-
clusively for Kids program will
camp out overnight at Mount
Seymour Park.

Commission facility in person.
