department store in Houston offered in its Christmas
catalog. what ‘was described as a tongue-in-cheek
“ultimate gift’’ of Walter Cronkite as a dinner guest, the
CBS newsman was not amused. In- fact, he's: filed suit:
‘in Houston demanding that the department store not
only remove.his name. from its catalog, but also -"*notify
all persons, customers, news: organizations, and any -
- other groups or entities to whom it has sent the catalog” |
