What West Vancouver District Council, MP John Reynolds and the Bowen Island-based Coalition of Users to Reestablish Equity (CURE) all want to know is whether marine inquiring reporter ecosystems and fish habitat were damaged in the incident and whether there is any likelihood of a repeat. BC Ferries has promised to test the foam but maintains it is not concerned that it is an environmental issue. Meanwhile the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans acknowledges that there is an issue to be reviewed.
