The Readers Digest Backroads and Getaway Places of Canada definitely belongs in the fatter category. The eaifors and more than 180 contributing writers have put together what amounts to the biggest, slickest and most inspiring tourist brochure for this country I’ve ever seen. They've done it by opting for “the road fess travelled,” virtually ignoring the over-promoted major cities and concentrating on small towns, outlying parks and recreation areas.
