society of Aldous Huxley’s Brave
New World is the setting for the
latest production of Carson
Graham Secondary’s drama
department.

“We're using a lot of special ef-

. fects,” said producer and vice-
principal Angie Chan. ‘‘We’ve got
lasers, (futuristic) tubing and
smoke machines.”

The second of two shows pro-
duced throughout the school year,
the Brave New World production
involves 75 Carson students from
all grades and classes.

“There’s lot of Alphas and Ep-
silons (social groups in the Brave
New World),’’ explained Chan.
“That's why there's a lot of people
involved — all grades.’’
