HOSTS CAPTURE OWN MEET Marlins power to win NORTH Shore Winter Club Marlins won the team trophy at their annual ‘‘B’’ meet held at the club last weekend. Over 400 swimmers from 12 clubs participated. Many Marlins made finals and best times. In Division One Emily Davidson had a 2nd .in 50 free, 4th in 50 fly and 6th in 50 breast while Jill Good- brand had a 3rd in 50 breast and 6th in 50 fiy. Gavin Fiett came Ist in 50 free and 2nd in 50 breast, Doug Shaw had two firsts in SO breast and 50 fly, Greg Symes came 3rd in 50 back and 6th in 50 breast while Daryn McLean came 3rd in 50 free. In Division 2 Stacey Grant came Ist in 50 breast and 4th in 50 fly. PJamie Stothert had firsts in 50 back and 50 fly and a 2nd in S50 free. Paul Sadro came 2nd in 50 free and Nick Davidson came Sth in 50 breast. In Divison 3 Lori Plezia was Ist in 50 free and 6th in 50 fly and Michiko Kariya had a 3rd in 50 back and 6th in 50 free. The Tournament, August 9-12, will include the playing of the Little Stanley Cup Game between Team USA and Team Canada. Floor Hockey was the first team sport to be officially in troduced into the programs of Special Olympics for men tally handicapped athletes In preparation for this tournament a training camp will be held for the 12 All Stars at South Arm Com- munity Centér in Richmond, August 6-8.
